Saylavy does not only provide an efficient and outgoing bookkeeping service but we are also dedicated to making a difference in our community.

We have decided to try and unite the community of Derby and beyond to knit scarves for the homeless and vulnerable – and it is well under way! We have bags full of enthusiasm and determination to launch this worthwhile knitting campaign and we want you to get involved.

We are aiming to knit 200+ scarves to make a real difference to those within Derby and the surrounding areas.

Derby, like many other Cities, have many homeless and vulnerable adults on the streets and we want to help raise awareness and show people how they can help without giving people cash and encouraging antisocial behaviour on the streets. We are working with The Padley Group to help raise awareness and support to tackle a growing problem on the streets of Derby.

It doesn’t matter if you are a novice or an expert, we welcome any range of talents! The scarves can be as simple or as complicated as you like, as long as they are made with love and care.

We would be very grateful if you could support us in any way. If you have any questions or queries, just get in touch via any of our social media platforms that are detailed below. Alternatively, pop in and meet us or email us on sara@saylavy.co.uk or emily@saylavy.co.uk.
