Willis Cooper 10th anniversary

On the 10th September 2010 willis cooper Chartered Accountants celebrated their 10th year in business. Robert Cooper started his business from his home with Julie Cooper (then Ferdinando) his only member of staff. The practice has now grown substantially and operates with 18 members of staff. The growth of the firm has been driven purely by word of mouth recommendation from existing clients.

Willis Cooper celebrated the occasion by inviting clients and local businesses to join them in the afternoon for an ‘open house’ to have a look round the office, enjoy drinks & nibbles and also join in with some fund raising activities to raise money for the Lewis Mighty fund. Willis Cooper even had their own branded beer on the day provided by Direct Beers, one of their clients.

Staff washed cars (even during the rain!) for £5, challenged visitors to a game of table football and had a ‘Guess the weight of the cake’ competition all to raise money for Lewis. The staff had a great time and raised £450 on the day!

Visitors on the day included; Free Reed Records & Music, Amber Lodge Nursing Home, Fastsigns, NRGize, the Royal Bank of Scotland, GB Lifttrucks, Marc Wongsam, M8MC, Security Aware, Suzanne Fells Photography, Empower Electrical, Business on Toast, Sarah Cogdon Films and William Barron.
